		<description>Another disgusting, yet philosophically interesting, aspect of the war is the issue of moral culpability.

Israel claims hamas is wholly morally culpable if they fire a mortar, rocket etc from a school, mosque, etc and that subsequent destruction of the structure causes the death of its civillian inhabitants.

I believe that the moral philosophical framework would undoubtedly find hamas to have some level of culpability. However, it is an intellectual absurdity for israel to deny its moral culpability. Herein lies the violent heart and the hidden futility of the offensive. A much more watertight assertion would be some realist argument about the ammorality of warfare. At least the settler don&#039;t pretend to be empathetic.</description>
